Yesterday was so fun♪ Wakuwaku Stamp Rally 2025, achieved 4/9~!

That’s the 4th one. So 5 more left…

When you say 5 more left, there’s still more than half remaining…

You know, I realized something.

Hokkaido is too huge! (ﾟ∀ﾟ)

Yesterday while you were driving, I was looking at the map…

The distance from Kushiro to Obihiro is about 100km!

We took the scenic route without using the highway, so just travel took quite a while~ (´∪｀)

True. Just visiting 2 zoos was a full day’s work.

Exactly!

So I also looked at where the remaining 5 facilities are…

• Maruyama Zoo (Sapporo)

• Asahiyama Zoo (Asahikawa)

• Shin-Sapporo Sun Piazza Aquarium (near Sapporo)

• AOAO SAPPORO (central Sapporo)

• Salmon Hometown Chitose Aquarium (Chitose)

3 are clustered in the Sapporo area, but Asahikawa and Chitose are far (´∪｀)

Plus Asahikawa is even further north from Sapporo…

Hey, Onii-chan (´∪｀)

I did a rough calculation…

The total distance needed to visit everything probably exceeds 1000km!

1000km…?

Yeah!

Tokyo to Osaka is about 500km, so it’s like doing a Tokyo-Osaka round trip (ﾟ∀ﾟ)

This Hokkaido stamp rally’s scale is insane~!

When you put it that way, that’s pretty intense…

On the mainland, you could reach the next prefecture with that distance, but we’re traveling within Hokkaido (´∪｀)

Is this a “Hokkaido thing”~?

But you know, the travel was tough but it was fun♪

At Kushiro Zoo, giraffes and zebras greeted us (≧∇≦)

Plus we happened upon a naming ceremony for twin sea lions!

Ah, their names were just decided right then. I couldn’t remember them though (laugh)

Onii-chan, you forget so quickly~ (´∀`)

But our timing was perfect♪ We were lucky!

Then we went to Obihiro Zoo…

They had a guinea pig petting corner♪

Ah… that was bad…

Onii-chan, you couldn’t stop sneezing (´∪｀)

Maybe you reacted to the guinea pig fur?

They were so cute but you couldn’t touch them, what a shame~

I’d like revenge, but I’d probably just sneeze again…

Ehehe~ but we got to see lots of other animals so it’s okay♪

Ezo flying squirrels, Ezo raccoon dogs, beavers… (≧∇≦)

Obihiro Zoo really featured Hokkaido animals!

How are we going to visit the remaining 5?

Hmm~ about that (´∪｀)

Doing them all in one day is absolutely impossible, so we’ll have to split them up…

The 3 in the Sapporo area (Maruyama Zoo, Sun Piazza Aquarium, AOAO SAPPORO) we could visit as a set♪

But Asahiyama Zoo is in Asahikawa, so that’s another long trip~ (´∀`)

Chitose Aquarium is also pretty far from Sapporo…

We’ll need to make a plan then.

We’ve achieved 4/9, but the remaining 5 are far…

Both physically and mentally far (´∪｀)

But if we complete them all, the sense of achievement will be huge.

Once we complete everything, we can call ourselves Hokkaido Masters (≧∇≦)

So yesterday’s zoo tour was fun, but it was a day where I realized Hokkaido’s hugeness all over again~

100km just from Kushiro to Obihiro… considering the rest it’s over 1000km…

This stamp rally is way too hardcore! (ﾟ∀ﾟ)

But you know, driving around to different zoos with Onii-chan is really fun♪

Just thinking about where to go next is exciting (≧∇≦)
